Come along to The Turner Dumbrell Workshops this Saturday – 9th December – for the opportunity to browse and buy unique, hand-crafted Christmas gifts! Here at Auricula, we will have wine and mince pies for you to enjoy whilst you browse the jewellery collections. Jane Hopkinson Bags will be open selling their covetable leather handbags. Rebecca Cragg has recently moved her floristry business to the Turner Dumbrell Workshops and has a collection of stylish Christmas wreaths along with other festive floral table displays. Artists Rosemary Pavey, Bernadina Lloyd, Gigi Lopez, and Philip Dunn will have their studios open with an array of paintings, prints and much more. There will also be the opportunity to visit Andrew Burston’s studio – maybe with a view to having a well-loved piece of furniture nurtured back to life as he is a carpenter, upholsterer and furniture restorer. Kate Baker-brown of Sparrowworks will be showcasing her handmade books, prints and textiles. Patricia Gidney’s studio will also be open on Saturday – she is a calligrapher and can take on commissions such as family trees – an heirloom for future generations.
