This year, alongside the offering from our eight member artists, we are excited to have a number of guest artists joining our Lewes Creatives Christmas event:

South Street Studio – Mary Duckham illustrates Lewes and the surrounding areas.  The drawings are available as prints, tea towels, tote bags and much more.  The stall will also have lots of Christmas goodies – perfect for presents.

Sarah Becvar – is a textile artist specialising in freehand machine embroidery, creating unique products for you and your home.

Jo Brown – Jo is an illustrator and print maker. She has printed her quirky cats and dogs (and chickens, and pigeons and tomatoes…) on all sorts of colourful gifts and prints.

The Wooden Truth Printing Press – Andrew makes letterpress prints from antique wood and metal type.

Small Yellow Bird – handmade books crafted in small batches with exclusive patterned papers, designed in-house by Lucie Jones.

Grown in Lewes – a book by 50 local authors celebrating all things green in the town.

Sue Arnold – Sue’s  oil paintings celebrate still life with joyful colour and radiance.

Meg Griffiths – functional ceramics, inspired by seascapes and landscapes, for use in the home or garden.

Campesina Kitchen will be offering a hearty wild mushroom Chilli sin Carne, mulled apple juice, a few baked sweet treats, teas and French press coffee.

The Main Event

The 2023 fair runs 9am – 5pm on Saturday 2nd December. Tickets are £2 on the door for adults, kids go free. 

This year there will be over 80 carefully chosen artists and makers, including dozens of first-time stallholders. It’s a trove of gorgeous gifts, artworks and homewares – you’re sure to find something you love.

 

Opening Night

Friday 1st December 6pm-8.30pm. Buy tickets here

Be first in line for all the Artists & Makers delights at the exclusive opening night on Friday 1st December 6pm-8.30pm. 

Grab a drink, sample some Feature Kitchen flavours and browse the stalls to the soundtrack of a live DJ on the decks.

Lewes Creatives Spring Fair

Come along to our Spring Fair, in the Pells area of Lewes – see map below – to view the latest work by Lewes Creatives members and guest artists. There will be jewellery, prints, textiles, photography, aromatherapy products, ceramics and other artwork plus a café and makers’ table. 

At the makers’ table there will be badge-making and paper flower-making to raise funds for a Lewes-based charity called ‘Hope for Ukraine’.

Delivery Information for Christmas 2022:

Friday 16th December will be our last Royal Mail posting date of 2022.

I will be hand-delivering parcels within Lewes up until Wednesday 21st December.

Tuesday 20th December will be my hand delivery day within Mid-Sussex – please call or email me for more information.

I will be closed from Thursday 22nd December until Monday 9th January 2023.
