Description
I sourced the shaped carnelian stone from the souks in Marrakech and, upon my return, hand-forged sterling silver into similarly shaped pendants with the aim of creating a piece that could have been unearthed from the Egyptian sands. The main part of the necklace is made from lapis tubes and silver beads. Length: 17.25 inches when laid out flat including clasp. Dimensions of carnelian: 31mm x 29mm.
