A common opal measuring 9 x 16mm approximately is set in a hammered silver setting (20mm x 42mm) and drops from a necklace of 4mm labradorite beads. Clasp: sterling silver ‘shepherd’s hook. Hallmarked at The London Assay Office. Length including clasp when laid out flat: 19 inches.
